- Choose your programme
- Certified-diver boat trips, one-dive try experiences, two-dive Discover Scuba experiences, snorkelling and Open Water certification courses are separate products.
- First-time experience
- Discover Scuba is a one-day experience, not certification. Minimum age 10; the operator requires its Discover Scuba paperwork. The one-dive and two-dive options both include full equipment.
- Certification course
- The standard Open Water course takes three days with eLearning before arrival, confined-water training and four open-water dives.
- Dive equipment
- Rental equipment is included in rental-gear and try-diving products. Own-gear trip prices are separate. Nitrox is an extra requiring EANx certification.
- Optional equipment
- Dive-computer hire is ฿400 per day and underwater flashlight hire is ฿250 per day; request extras when booking.
- At the dive centre
- Scuba and snorkelling retail shop, rental kit room, classrooms, air-conditioned study areas and free Wi-Fi
- On the boats
- The operator lists showers, bathrooms/toilets, food, drinks and snacks on its dive boats.
- Certified-diver trips
- Book the certified-diver trip with your certification details; locations depend on diver certification, tides and weather.
- Open Water prerequisites
- Minimum age 10. The course includes a 200 m unassisted swim or 300 m with mask, fins and snorkel, plus a ten-minute float. Complete the operator’s booking screening before confirming participation.
- Trip inclusions
- Local hotel pickup if required, lunch, refreshments and two air tanks for the two-dive certified trip. Select own gear or rental gear at the correct price.

Pattaya Dive Centre is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre at Tipp Plaza on Beach Road. It publishes prices for two-dive days, introductory dives, certification courses, professional training and technical courses. The useful distinction is not simply “a dive”: certification, equipment, site and medical requirements change the transaction.

The operator says the listed trip prices include the stated transfers, standard equipment where applicable, professional assistance, lunch and refreshments; flashlights and dive computers are extra. The current trip page, checked 8 September 2026, lists ฿400 per day for a dive computer and ฿250 per day for an underwater flashlight. Confirm the exact product because the course table separately lists an Open Water eLearning Premium route at THB 17,800.
Who it suits — and who it does not
The centre suits a Beach Road visitor who wants a published product and a shop address before choosing a boat day or course. Beginners have named introductory routes, while qualified divers can compare own-gear and rental-gear prices.
It does not suit someone unwilling to complete the applicable health and liability paperwork, or a diver who assumes every trip departs for the same site regardless of weather. The watersports directory includes other operators and shore-based activities.

Maps and the operator identify 219/3 Tipp Plaza, Pattaya Beach Road, with phone +66 38 422 133. Maps lists the centre daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Those are the previously checked shop hours. The current trip page, checked 8 September 2026, gives an 08:15 meeting at the dive centre and an estimated 15:30–16:00 return.
Use the exact Tipp Plaza pin and ask where hotel pickup applies. No checked operator-published source published a universal pickup boundary, parking instruction or transfer time for every booking.
Before you go
Choose the exact trip or course and disclose certification level, last dive, equipment needs and any relevant answers on the PADI medical form. The operator says a “yes” answer can require a physician to complete the form before training proceeds. That is a booking condition, not medical advice from this directory.
Ask for departure and return times, dive sites, maximum depth, group arrangement, computer and flashlight charges, deposit, balance method, cancellation and weather policy. Confirm whether the advertised group Open Water price requires both people to book and train together.
