Central Pattaya's watersports page is principally a dive-operator comparison, not a directory of beach rentals or guaranteed Bali Hai departures. Five listed businesses publish scuba products from Beach Road, Second Road, South Pattaya or Thappraya; the sixth result, Underwater World Pattaya, is an aquarium. Choose by diver status, course or trip, then confirm the actual meeting and boat plan. A central shop address does not prove that the boat leaves from the shop, that hotel pickup covers every address or that a named dive site runs on a chosen day. For a certified two-dive day, the dated public figures form a useful spread. Pattaya Dive Centre listed a Pattaya trip at THB 2,700 with personal gear or THB 3,000 with rental gear, and a Samae San day at THB 2,900 or THB 3,200, checked 27 July 2026. No Limit Divers listed THB 2,800 including equipment, while Adventure Divers Pattaya listed THB 2,800 with personal gear and THB 3,300 with rental. The latter also states local pickup and drop-off, lunch and drinks. Those are different inclusions and destinations, not a ranking based on the headline number alone. Beginners should distinguish a one-day introduction from certification. Pattaya Dive Centre lists a one-dive Try Dive Splash at THB 3,300 and two-dive PADI Discover Scuba Diving at THB 4,500. No Limit lists try diving at THB 3,900; Adventure Divers lists Discover Scuba Diving at THB 4,000; and Seafari Diving Center lists a one-day, two-dive Discover product at THB 4,500. For Open Water, Pattaya Dive Centre lists THB 14,990 for one person or THB 13,000 each for two or more, No Limit lists THB 15,900, and Pattaya Scuba Adventures lists THB 14,990 or from THB 13,490 each for two or more. All dates and medical, swimming, age, equipment and certification conditions still need checking with the operator. Operating windows also describe different things. Pattaya Dive Centre and No Limit list daily 08:00-20:00; Seafari lists 08:00-19:00. Pattaya Scuba Adventures separates dive operations at 08:30-16:00, courses to 17:00 and a Monday-Saturday shop window of 11:00-17:00. Adventure Divers has conflicting PADI and Maps hours, so confirm its meeting time directly. None of those windows is a universal boat departure timetable. Underwater World should be removed from any scuba shortlist. Its current admission is THB 550 for visitors over 131 cm and THB 320 for children 91-130 cm, with daily 09:00-18:00 opening and last entry at 17:30. That buys aquarium admission, not a dive, snorkel session or certification. For a central stay, compare the exact two-dive inclusion or beginner pathway in writing, disclose certification and recent-dive history, and ask about equipment, computers, torches, pickup boundary, marine fees, deposit, cancellation and weather handling.
