If you only read one thing: the racquet category is a 25-record regional index, not a single market of interchangeable court hours. As checked on 26 July 2026, it mixes tennis, padel, pickleball and badminton from Pattaya through Na Jomtien, Huai Yai, Si Racha and Laem Chabang. Twenty-four records have no closure flag; Diamond Badminton is permanently closed. Pattaya Tennis Club is retained as an unverified generic legacy listing, so use one of the named active venues instead.
Compare a court hour with a court hour
Siam Bayshore Pattaya provides the clearest current tennis tariff. Its operator page checked on 26 July lists six daytime courts open to hotel guests and the public from 07:00 to 18:00. Court hire is ฿350 per hour. A racket is ฿150 per hour, four used balls are ฿100 per hour, a basket of balls is ฿300 per hour and a can of new balls is ฿300. In-house guests receive one complimentary daytime court hour, but that hotel inclusion is not free public access.
Badminton can be cheaper, but the published examples are farther from the central beach corridor. SB Badminton Huai Yai lists ฿180 per court-hour and opens daily from 13:00 to 23:00, checked on 25 July 2026. Most other badminton records publish a phone and hours but no stable owner tariff. Ask whether the quote is for the whole court or each player and whether rackets, shuttlecocks, lighting or a deposit cost extra.
Padel prices change by time and format
Pattaya Padel Club publishes time-band pricing beside Mabprachan Reservoir: ฿600 per court-hour from 10:00 to 16:00 and ฿800 from 07:00 to 10:00 or 16:00 to 22:00. One-hour coaching ranges from ฿1,600 for one player to ฿2,600 for four. Play Padel Pattaya lists an indoor Pratamnak court at ฿1,200 per hour, private coaching from ฿600 per hour and racket rental at ฿100 per hour. Both menus were checked on 25 July 2026.
Chilli Padel Club lists ฿1,000 per hour for a whole court for up to four players, with happy-hour courts from ฿600. Five of its six Jomtien courts are roofed. Its operator hours and Maps closing time disagree by one hour, so use the live booking schedule for the last slot. Prime Padel on Sukhumvit 41 offers booking, coaching and equipment hire but has no stable public price outside the live booking flow.
Choose by access and weather, not only price
A hotel court may require front-desk check-in even when public access is explicit. A dedicated club may require an app booking and prepayment. A social game or coached introduction is not the same product as an empty court, and a solo player should not assume partner matching. For outdoor tennis, ask about rain, lighting and the last playable start time. For padel in rainy season, a roofed or indoor court can matter more than the nominal hourly difference.
Before paying, send the venue the sport, date, start time, player count and experience level. Confirm the exact pin, surface, court cover, footwear, balls or shuttlecocks, racket rental, coaching, cancellation and total price. Blank prices mean no stable current first-hand tariff was found, not free admission. Use the tennis and badminton guide for a sport-led shortlist and the padel and pickleball guide for booking formats.
