Pratamnak's racquet page compares two dedicated but non-interchangeable clubs: PR Pattaya Pickleball on Pratamnak Soi 6 and Play Padel Pattaya on Soi Kasetsin 3. The first is a two-court pickleball venue with coaching and a live booking form; the second is an indoor climate-controlled padel arena with a dated whole-court tariff. Choose the sport first. Padel, pickleball, tennis and badminton use different courts, equipment and booking expectations, so this small local cluster is not a single generic “racquets” product. PR Pattaya Pickleball is the current public name for the former Pickleball Pattaya venue. Its operator site still uses the older club name in places, while the exact Maps identity uses PR; the record treats them as one club rather than two competitors. The operator describes two full-sized, fenced courts with permanent nets, lighting to 21:00, paddles, balls and a ball machine. It also advertises English-speaking licensed beginner coaching, private sessions and youth programmes for ages five and up. The live booking form exposes Court 1 and Court 2 reservations, but the public pages do not show a current rate card, membership breakdown, cancellation terms, partner matching or a fixed weekly open-play schedule. Ask whether the requested price is per court, per player or per coaching hour before confirming. Play Padel offers the clearer price calculation. Its operator tariff, checked 26 July 2026, lists THB 1,200 per court-hour, private coaching from THB 600 per hour, standard racket rental at THB 100 per hour, and balls at THB 200–300 per pack. The court price is for the entire court, so divide it only among confirmed players; coaching, rackets and balls are separate unless the operator says otherwise. It also publishes a demo-racket allowance of 15 minutes free then THB 200–300 per hour, and a personal membership at THB 1,000 monthly with an hourly discount, though its “from November” wording has no year and must be rechecked. The access rules distinguish padel from a casual public court. Play Padel opens daily 10:00–22:00 and uses Padelmates. Known players can reserve and pay at the arena, while first-time advance bookings require payment in advance. A late arrival does not move the reserved hour, and card payment through Padelmates adds THB 100; cash and Thai QR are preferred. At PR, the public club hours are daily 07:00–21:00, but that is not an automatic social-play or coaching timetable. For a Pratamnak stay, choose PR when a confirmed pickleball court, beginner lesson or youth introduction fits the plan; choose Play Padel when a published indoor court rate and padel coaching matter more.
