The record ties the gym to Muay Thai and MMA, and independent fight databases document Rambaa Somdet's Shooto and MMA history. That background does not prove which discipline is taught in every listed period, whether a beginner can join, or whether private coaching is available on a particular day.

Mixfight is farther south in Khao Makok and advertises a broader school programme. A March 2026 owner update names Muay Thai, boxing, MMA, jiu-jitsu, yoga, fitness, children's groups and fight preparation. Its live hours are 08:00–21:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 08:00–19:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; and Sunday closed. Independent event records place combat-sports events, including MMA bouts, at the venue. Again, an event record confirms relevant activity, not a standing visitor class at every open hour.

Price is an unresolved comparison

No current operator-published group, private, weekly or monthly tariff was found for either record during the checks completed on 25 July 2026. The empty price fields mean the rate is unknown, not free or necessarily inexpensive. Ask for the price of the exact discipline and format, whether registration or equipment is extra, how long the session runs and whether payment covers open gym, a group class or one-to-one coaching.

Who this category suits

The two records suit a reader willing to contact a school and verify the session before travelling. Rambaa is the more direct location fit for an East Pattaya base and publishes split morning and afternoon periods. Mixfight publishes longer operating windows and a wider list of disciplines, which may suit a family or training group with different interests. Neither record is yet strong enough for a price-led recommendation, a guaranteed English-language class or a claim that a travelling white belt can simply join.

Before choosing, send the operator your experience level, desired discipline, preferred date and whether you need group or private training. Ask about the class start time, sparring or rolling rules, gloves and protective equipment, gi or no-gi requirements, coaching language and current fee.
