Your first visit

  • Bring your passport or ID: chain gyms ask for it before a visitor pass.
  • Bring training shoes and a towel; ask whether towels, lockers and showers are included.
  • For Muay Thai, arrive before the class starts and say it is your first; hand wraps and gloves can usually be bought or borrowed, ask first.
  • Check the venue's own hours on its page: class times are often shorter than opening hours.
  • Visas: this site covers training, not visas. Ask the camp and the immigration office before you pay for a long stay.

How much does a week of training cost? A gym week pass runs about four to five day passes; a week of Muay Thai depends on one or two sessions a day. See one week or one month.
