Local details
East Pattaya fitness is a corridor of distinct access models rather than one generic “Darkside gym” choice. Elite Gym & Fitness on Sukhumvit has the clearest ordinary day-pass price and a broad class menu; Castra Gym on Khao Talo combines weights and cardio with separately documented Muay Thai and BJJ; James GYM is a 24-hour neighbourhood gym with current one-to-one coaching activity; and Sanit Sport Club in Pong publishes day, swim and monthly products around a mixed fitness, class, pool, sauna and group-Muay-Thai offer. Choose by the exact product and location, not by a broad area label.
Elite is the most transparent option for a straightforward visit. Its operator lists a THB 300 day pass, general memberships, group classes and separately priced functional training. It is air-conditioned, opens daily 06:30–22:00, and its class page names Bodycombat, Bodyfit, Elite Balance, Elite Dance, yoga and Zumba. Ordinary gym memberships include daily classes except functional training; functional products include gym membership and all classes. Confirm the chosen product before payment rather than treating the functional rate as an ordinary day-pass price.
Castra suits a visitor mixing gym work with combat training. Its general opening hours are Monday–Friday 07:00–21:00, Saturday 09:00–21:00 and Sunday 09:00–18:00. The fight-club page publishes Muay Thai Monday–Friday 09:00–10:00 and 17:30–18:30, and BJJ Monday, Wednesday and Friday 19:00–20:00. Those named sessions and their published combat pricing are stronger evidence than a general gym claim, but no current public general-gym membership tariff is visible. Ask whether the intended gym, class or fight-club product includes equipment, coaching and the relevant access period.
James GYM is the after-hours option: its owner channels and exact Maps identity support daily 00:00–24:00 operation at 209/1 Moo 10, Soi Khao Talo, plus current personal-training activity. No public rate, equipment inventory, group timetable, shower, locker or air-conditioning policy is documented. Call +66 80 821 9669 for a casual visit or Coach James session rather than assuming a 24-hour listing guarantees every service at every hour.
Sanit's September 2026 operator post lists THB 300 day entry, THB 100 swimming, monthly membership from THB 2,499 and an existing-member rate of THB 1,999. It says the advertised membership covers fitness, all group classes, the pool, sauna and group Muay Thai; the day and swim products must not be assumed to include that whole bundle. A dedicated notice changes hours from 1 September to Monday–Friday 06:00–21:00 and weekends 06:00–18:00, while the timetable post also retains a conflicting Saturday 20:00 line, so confirm Saturday.
Choose Elite for a clearly separated gym/class rate structure, Castra for documented combat scheduling, James for directly confirmed 24-hour access, or Sanit for the mixed facility model after checking the exact product. The East Pattaya gym guide provides the broader comparison.
