About this venue

Overview

Thai Maps names the 243/70 Surasak 2 facility สนามกีฬาเทศบาลเมืองศรีราชา. Sriracha Municipality reopened it after a major upgrade in September 2025, and a May 2026 municipal inventory still lists it among the city's sports grounds provided for public sporting use.

The municipality publishes two public exercise periods: 05:00-07:30 and 13:00-20:00 every day except public holidays. Read that as a split schedule: the notice does not offer a public period from 07:30 to 13:00, and an event or maintenance notice can still affect a particular date.

What the municipality documents

The detailed reopening record identifies an artificial-turf football area of 7,848 square metres and a synthetic running-track area of 3,260 square metres. It records a total upgrade cost of THB 10,804,776.56, divided between Sriracha Municipality and Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization. Those figures describe project areas and public investment; they do not establish a lane count, lap length, pitch certification or spectator capacity.

An August 2025 municipal preparation notice also says the project upgraded the running track, lighting, grandstand and other amenities. The source does not itemise the lights, seats or ancillary rooms, so this record does not turn that general statement into a complete facility inventory. The May 2026 official inventory visually and textually identifies the Srirachanakhon-Soi Praisanee community stadium as the municipal sports ground.

What training is on offer

The open periods establish a place for public exercise, not a coached programme. The reopening notice sends people seeking football-field use to a separate permission process. It also names a municipal basketball court, but the retained source does not establish that the court is inside this stadium complex; basketball is therefore not listed as an on-site stadium facility. A preceding municipal meeting record says rules were being prepared for government bodies, private organisations, schools, clubs and members of the public wishing to use stadium space.

That is evidence of an organised-use route, but not proof of instant availability. The checked pages do not publish a final downloadable application, booking lead time, group-size limit, equipment package or recurring club timetable. A football team or event organiser should describe the exact date, hours, activity and expected attendance when asking for permission.

What it costs

No current public fee table appears in the municipal sources checked on 29 August 2026. Open exercise periods do not prove that a reserved football field or event slot is free. Ask whether the intended use requires a charge, deposit, insurance, identification, approval letter or cleaning and lighting payment, then retain the written reply with the booking.

Who it suits — and who it does not

The published periods suit someone seeking municipal outdoor exercise and a central Sriracha track-and-field setting. They do not guarantee an open lane during a match, a casual football game, coaching, equipment hire or staff at every minute of the public window. Organised users need the separate municipal permission route.

Getting there

Use the listed 243/70 Surasak 2 Road address and the exact Maps link. The official opening notice publishes +66 38 327 888, saraban@srirachacity.go.th and the municipality's Pr.Srirachacity Facebook page. These are general municipal contact routes, not a dedicated stadium desk or a promise of an immediate booking response; they therefore remain visible here but are omitted from venue contact schema.

Before you go

Confirm that the chosen period is unaffected by a public holiday, event or maintenance closure. For a group, request the exact football-field or event permission rather than relying on the general exercise hours. Ask which entrance handles approved use, whether lighting is included, what footwear is permitted on the surface and what proof of approval must be shown on arrival.

What we could not verify

No current tariff, complete booking procedure, track-lane specification, seating capacity, parking rule, changing-room access, toilet schedule, drinking-water point, footwear rule or future event calendar was published in the retained sources. The public schedule and facility areas are documented; those unresolved details remain questions for the municipality.
