Real Divers is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center at 334/117 Moo 12 in Jomtien. Its PADI listing and operator price page, checked on 8 September 2026, both publish +66 38 232 476. A callout on the operator homepage instead displays 038 238 476, so its contact wording is inconsistent. The number retained here is the one supported by PADI and the price page.
The PADI listing publishes daily 08:00–19:30 shop hours; a booked boat trip follows its own meeting and return instructions rather than that walk-in window.
What training is on offer
The operator offers first-dive experiences, PADI Open Water training, continuing education and professional development. PADI lists scuba, TecRec, freediving, snorkelling and Emergency First Response, plus English and Chinese as centre languages. It also lists an onsite classroom, free Wi-Fi, a retail shop, dive boat and parking. A listed language or facility is centre-level information, not a guarantee for every departure.
Real Divers says its Pattaya trips use 12-metre speedboats and publishes separate meeting-at-the-centre and local-transfer products. Compare the exact product rather than assuming every course or fun dive has the same boat, site or pickup. What it costs
The exact operator price page was checked on 2026-07-26. Discover Scuba Diving was listed at THB 3,300 for the Budget package with one coral-reef dive plus snorkelling; THB 3,900 for Basic with two coral-reef dives and underwater photos; and THB 4,500 for Deluxe with two dives, photos and local hotel pickup and return.
The Gold package was advertised at THB 4,900, reduced from THB 5,900 from 1 January 2026 until January 2027. It lists two coral-reef dives, underwater photos and video, rental equipment, lunch, snacks and drinks. The same page lists a Budget Open Water promotion at THB 14,500, reduced from THB 15,900, with eLearning, a pool session, four ocean dives, certification, rental equipment and a rental computer. Reconfirm the promotion and total before paying.
Who it suits — and who it does not
Real Divers suits a Jomtien-based first timer who wants several clearly differentiated packages, a certified diver comparing two- or three-dive speedboat options, or a trainee seeking a route beyond entry level. The Jomtien area guide helps compare the shop location with land-based training.
It is not a substitute for medical clearance, certification checks or a written booking. A Gold Discover product is still a non-certification experience. Someone seeking a licence should compare the Open Water course, not infer certification from two supervised dives.
Getting there
The centre is at 334/117 Moo 12 near Welcome Jomtien. Maps publishes Plus Code VVMJ+J4 and the same shop phone as PADI. The operator says it boards its speedboat from Jomtien Beach near the centre, while particular trips may follow different instructions. Use the booking confirmation for the meeting point and do not assume that the office pin is the boarding point.
Before you go
Send the chosen package name, date, participant count, ages, certification level, last-dive date, equipment sizes and hotel location. Ask which boat and sites are planned, what happens after weather changes, which transfers are included and whether photos, insurance or certification fees carry conditions. Complete all medical paperwork honestly and obtain qualified advice when a form requires it.
