Pattaya Jomtien Beach Volleyball Courts
What training is on offer
Beach Volleyball Thailand's current Pattaya entry identifies three floodlit beach-volleyball courts near the Sea Rescue area on Jomtien and Dongtan Beach. It says players organise doubles and fast sixes from around 16:00 every night, with mixed ability levels. The exact Maps place is labelled in Thai as the Dongtan volleyball court area.
This is an informal playing location, not a staffed academy. The association page describes games; it does not publish a coached beginner lesson, guaranteed organiser attendance or a reservation system. Players wanting other social formats can compare the clubs directory and running-and-clubs guide.
What it costs
The association lists play as free and says donations for equipment are welcome, checked 27 July 2026. That is the basis for the record's Free label. A donation invitation is not a mandatory tariff, and no amount is specified.
No first-hand source publishes a coaching price, tournament entry, equipment-rental fee or reserved-court charge. If a person on site offers a paid lesson or event place, confirm who is organising it, what is included and whether it is separate from ordinary informal play before paying.
Who it suits — and who it does not
The courts may suit a player comfortable joining a mixed-level social group and accepting that the format depends on turnout. The association names both doubles and six-a-side play, so a visitor should ask which queue and rules are in use rather than assuming a particular match.
It is a weak fit for someone who requires a private court, guaranteed partner, formal coaching, changing room or staffed reception. A complete beginner can ask whether observation or gentle rotation is possible, but the published entry does not promise instruction or beginner-only play.
Getting there
The source places the courts near the Sea Rescue area on Jomtien Beach / Dongtan Beach and provides a map link. Use the exact court pin and look for the active nets; the Jomtien beachfront is long, and a generic beach destination is not precise enough. The Jomtien area page provides wider location context.
No checked source establishes parking, public-transport directions, shower access, secure storage or an accessible route across the sand. Plan the return journey independently and do not leave valuables unattended.
Before you go
Treat around 16:00 as the association's usual start, not a booking. Weather, court condition, tournaments and participant numbers can change whether a game forms. The Maps “open 24 hours” label describes access to the public place; it does not mean organised play or lighting is available all night.
Bring water, sun protection and clothing suitable for sand. Ask the players how teams, rotations and donations are being handled that day. Do not assume a ball, knee protection, first aid, drinking water or secure storage will be supplied.
What we could not verify
There is no published organiser contact, reservation channel, guaranteed daily attendance, coaching menu, equipment inventory, lighting schedule, shower or locker provision, accessibility statement or weather-cancellation procedure. The directory can verify the association's Pattaya entry and exact court identity, but it cannot guarantee that a game will form on a future evening.
