Golf in Pattaya — FAQ.
How much are green fees at Pattaya golf courses?
Pattaya and the surrounding Chonburi area are a major golf destination, with courses ranging from good-value local layouts to championship, internationally ranked resorts. Green fees, caddie fees and cart fees vary widely; weekday rates are usually lower than weekends, and many courses sell packages through Pattaya golf-tour operators. Each course page shows its price tier; contact the course or a tour operator for current green fees and tee times.
Do I need to book a tee time in advance?
Yes, booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially for the well-known championship courses and at weekends or in the November to February high season. A caddie is mandatory at virtually all Thai courses and is arranged when you book. Clubs and shoes can usually be rented if you are not travelling with your own.
How far are the golf courses from central Pattaya?
Most courses sit in the countryside east and north of the city, typically a 20 to 45 minute drive, rather than in Pattaya itself. A few are closer. Many courses and golf-tour operators offer hotel pick-up. Each course page notes its location relative to Pattaya.
When is the best time to play golf in Pattaya?
The cool, dry season from roughly November to February has the most comfortable playing conditions and is the busiest. The hot season from March to May means early-morning tee times; the green season from June to October brings afternoon showers but quieter courses and lower rates. Courses are open year-round.
